Backflow device

Backflow devices are one-way valves, called check valves. They prevent the water flowing back on the other way in the pipework.

When an irrigation system is connected to the main water system, a double check valve must be used as a legal requirement, preventing the main water system from diseases. On systems installed by The Gardener’s Rain, double check valves are always installed right after the first water connection.
